The Blackberry is not just a mobile phone. It is a sophisticated device that allows you to maintain productivity even while you are on the go. One of the features that comes with the Blackberry is the ability to send and receive email messages wherever you are. If you have a Blackberry, here are steps to follow in order for you to be able to send email.

Choose the email account. Start by choosing which of your email accounts you want to add to your blackberry. Remember, most people have more than one email account. If you are working for a corporation, you will likely have your own email account in the company website. You may also have your own personal email address. Most Blackberry users can add up to ten email addresses to the Blackberry.
Profile. Once you have chosen which of your email accounts you want to add to the Blackberry, you will need to select the Profile button. By doing this, you should be able to add your email address. The Profile Button is found in the Internet Services section of the Blackberry.
Email accounts. In the Profile, you will see a link to your email accounts. Click on this so that you will be able to see which email addresses are connected to your Blackberry. If you have an account already in your Blackberry, you can go directly to using this account to send the email. If you want, however, you can also add another account. To add another account, you will need to click the Add button on the bottom of the Email Accounts page. Simply fill in the information that is asked from you and then add the password and the login information. Click OK to confirm.
Messages. Now that you have an email account in your Blackberry, the next step is to create the message itself. To do this, you will need to go to the Messaging center in your Blackberry. The Messaging Center can be accessed by going to the home screen. Once you have clicked on the Messaging Center, you should be able to find the Compose New Message button. Use this to create the email that you want to send. Simply type in the recipient’s email address and the subject for the email, and then the rest of the email message. Make sure that you enable the Auto text function that comes with all Blackberry devices. This feature will allow you to make typing faster, even on the small Blackberry screen. You can also add file attachments to your email, just as you can with a normal computer.
Send. After you have finished composing your message, you can send it by using the click wheel in your Blackberry phone. The Blackberry will give you a notification if the email message has been successfully sent.
